This amazing couple came to me through another organization that I volunteer with called You Can't Spoil A Baby, (If you have never heard of them you should check it out)  Jenny and I both have a special place in our heart for the group, and so working together was a natural fit. 

This is another story that has been in the making for a while. It was over a year ago that we first sat down to get started on the search, she was very open to many possibilities and at the same time knew exactly what she needed and wanted. 

It was 3 years ago when this couple started their search, at first they were looking a fair amount and we found a couple decent ones, and then things calmed down for a bit and they went into hibernation.

I was thrilled when Megs and Paddy reached out to me and let me know their secret... they were moving back to Winnipeg! Most people didn't know yet, and I got to start sending them properties to look at while they were still in Toronto. 

Jenn and I met through the wonderful world of Facebook, we live in the same community and she had seen me in different groups. When we first met Jenn was quick and to the point, she knew exactly what she wanted and was determined to find it - and fast. 

The process was super quick from beginning to end. From the first time we met, got the home prepped, photos and video done, and the listing up. For the one week it was on the market there were showings nearly every day, and this seller was amazing at accommodating the requests that were sent her way.

We set out on this journey a little while ago, looking for an awesome rental that they would feel comfortable living in, and would also make them money. Usually when purchasing a rental property all the emotions are removed. You have to look at it strictly as a business, will it be profitable? What kind of tenants can I get? What kind of shape is the house in? 

If you remember a crazy instagram story that I did a couple weeks ago regarding playing detective in a home that we eventually discovered was a grow op, this was where I met this couple. 

I met this awesome family in February of 2017 while I was working the Kiosk at the mall. They stopped by and told me they had a house to sell, they started describing it to me, and I knew exactly what house they were talking about.

The tale of these buyers is one that was extremely fast and long at the same time. I was put in contact with Courtney and Ryan one day before I was headed off to Hawaii, I called them at 9:30 that night just after I finished packing to talk about their upcoming move. They were moving across the country and would be putting some roots down in Winnipeg. They had never been here before, but knew that they wanted to be outside of the city. 

It was July long weekend when I received a phone call from Fred for the first time, he was interested in moving and having me as his Realtor. Fred said that he was very busy and travelled a lot, and I didn't quite understand the magnitude of what he meant at that time. We set up a time in the next couple of weeks to meet and discuss his future move.

It's not every day that you get to work with one of your close friends and help them buy a home. Ashley and I have been friends for over 10 years, and once upon a time lived in the same building and saw each other every single day. Since then our lives have taken us on very different paths, and we only see each other every couple of months, and so it was nice to get to spend so much time with Ashley and Mo over the last little while.

This sure was a whirlwind to make this sale happen!! Brian and I have worked together for years, and he contacted me on a Saturday morning as Gwen had found the perfect place for their new venture. That afternoon we went in and took look at it and agreed! It was perfect! 

t wasn't very long ago that Chad and I met to get the search started for his first home. From there we went out on a couple of very cold days in search of the perfect home. 

If there was ever one of my stories that you should read, this would be it. I always say that every sale is not always sunshine and rainbows, this sale was a roller coaster, the highs were high, and the lows were low. 

Marco and I go to the same gym, and somehow over the years have never met. Our mutual friend Angie told me I should get in touch with her friend Marco as he was wanting to buy a home, shortly after we became facebook friends we had met to get the search started for his first home.

I met with this family a few months ago. They were in no huge rush as there was still a good amount of time left on their lease, but they were eager to start the home search and leave behind a less than pleasant landlord. 

We hit the market at 8am last week, and at 8:07 I received our first showing request. It carried on like that the whole way through where we didn't have a single day without a showing for the entire week. In total we had 25 showings! Jay and Sheryl worked hard to ensure that the home was always show ready for that entire week. 

Holly got referred to me by a friend of hers, and at our first meeting I spent time getting to know her and understanding her needs. Holly was moving to the other side of the country, and needed someone who could take care of the sale of the home while she was away. Within a few short days we had another meeting with all the decision makers (her mom came all the way from Vancouver to Winnipeg to get things ready) and we  got everything organized and ready to go.

From the first time that we met, things have always happened very fast. From meeting, to buying a new home, moving in, and then getting this one on the market it all happened in the span of a month.
