This is the ultimate story of determination and perseverance. My goodness did these two ever go through a lot!

We started this journey just as Covid was a slight little bit of chatter, still in the distance and nothing we needed to worry about here. They made it through that 3 week window where no one knew what was happening, jobs were being lost like crazy and I had asked them to take a little bit of a pause while we figured out what buying, selling and financing was going to look like. But they were determined and still wanted to look.

After that 3 week window it was a gong show….ALLLLLL the buyers wanted to buy a home, but not all the sellers were ready to sell. So, all those buyers could only choose from a very limited number of homes. We offered, offered again, and again, and again…. and got one!

In total we did 3 home inspections (cuz you know I love my pre offer inspections) They made educated decisions every time and kept getting bid out… and one house we were even the highest offer going a whopping $37,500 over list and still loosing to unconditional offers (going in unconditional right now is just a silly idea guys…. don’t anyone reading this think that is a good idea to help you win)

On this house we saw it was offers as received… this means no bidding war! YAY!!! It had a pool, not something they had ever really wanted before, but on this hot sunny day and thinking of all the fun that could be had in this backyard the pool wasn’t scaring them off. An hour after looking at it we had an offer written and submitted. Then the dreaded phone call came…. another offer had been written. Of course, after sitting on the market for a week the very day we decided to offer someone else had to. UGH!

We made quick adjustments to our offer as we were now in competition, and then we endured a nail biting crazy frustrating wait to see what those sellers were going to say.

THEY GOT IT!!! OMG… the best news ever!! We got to keep all our conditions in place and were headed in for a home AND pool inspection within 2 days on the holiday Monday.

I love the dynamics of your relationship, the way the two of you work together and your incredible determination. You have done it and you are moving onwards and upwards! All the pool parties are here this summer!
