578 Cathcart SOLD

So, you probably already read the story about how Amanda and Geoff somewhat spontaneously found a home they wanted to buy. This meant that we had to act fast after that offer was accepted to get their home on the market!

We had started talking a few weeks prior about them maybe wanting to sell their home. Then Covid happened and we started having discussions about what things were looking like in the market. With things changing so fast we didn’t know at the time how things were going to pan out. Then I got the message from them that they wanted to look at a home and that look turned into an accepted offer!

We had to move FAST to get their home on the market and sold asap. These two were absolutely exceptional at getting things done. We sent over photos to the stager to do a virtual consult and over the weekend they did a mega transformation. From moving furniture, pictures, painting, and decluttering they did it ALL!! Monday we went in to do photos, video, and virtual walkthrough, Tuesday it hit the market, and Thursday showings started.

Selling your home is always hard, but throw in Covid-19 and there is an extra layer of difficulty. We did all the right things to keep both possible buyers and the sellers safe through the whole process. Over 5 days 26 groups walked through the home! We upped our social media game to get extra views and attention and ran creative ads specific to helping buyers during Covid. We did a pre list home inspection so that it would be one less thing that a buyer would have to worry about. We handed the buyer a complete package.

By Monday evening we were reviewing 3 offers on their home and were fortunate enough to accept an unconditional offer over list price that evening.

While Amanda and Geoff beamed in happiness over how the whole process went, it is important to note that it truly is a team effort. We wouldn’t have had those 3 offers if they hadn’t worked so hard in getting the home ready. It takes both amazing sellers and our plan to make it all work and the two of you deserve a huge pat on the back for all that you did.

It kills me that I can’t give you guys a great big hug of congratulations, but that just means that the housewarming visit will be that much better where we celebrate all that you have accomplished! Congratulations you guys!!
