Hanging this SOLD sign tonight is about the best thing ever!! This unit is the first one in this building to sell since 2018! We spent a total of 254 days on the market (plus another 257 with another agent) bringing the total days on market to 511. Not only did it take an incredibly long time to sell, we had an emotional roller coaster along the way as well.

During our 254 days together we actually had three offers. The first one came in very early in the process and then the buyer simply got cold feet and walked away from the offer. Hearts broken we put our heads down and got back to work.

When Covid happened this family moved out of their one bedroom condo to live with family members, 2 kids in a 1 bedroom condo is a lot to deal with during quarantine!! We kept pushing forward and I got notice that we had another offer! Within minutes of receiving it I called them to give them the great news, we gave them a great counter offer and rather than accept it the buyers came back to us with a lower offer. Rather than loose it all together we tried to come back with their original offer and they pulled out. Heartbreak round 2…..

When this last offer came in we all held our breaths. Financing was completed faster than I could have imagined and then we just had to wait for that cooling off period to end. During a cooling off period a buyer can back out for any reason whatsoever…. and so our breaths were mega held during these 7 days.

On Monday morning I got to send them the email that the condo was officially SOLD!! It’s about the best thing ever to be able to tell someone after such a long journey.

To my dear sellers, the two of you have been absolutely amazing throughout all of this. I couldn’t have asked for better people to be with me on this journey. You always answered the phone with the happiest voice, you went with the flow, and understood the process. Thank you for being so amazing!

Congratulations!! The next chapter in this journey is going to be a much much easier one!
