Congratulations J&J

This awesome couple contacted me a few months ago to start getting prepared for an upcoming house hunt. Currently living in Alberta, and family members of hubby’s I was excited to help them move back over to Winnipeg.

They started searching online and were trying to figure out what they wanted. Something inside the city or outside, how far of a drive would they be ok with? We sorted out all the back end stuff, pre approvals and helped them to understand the process.

In August I found out that they were coming here September long weekend and wanted to be heading back home as homeowners… and so I now had a mission. They drove in on Thursday and on Friday at 2:30 we started an epic house hunt. Over 7 hours we saw 13 homes ranging from Lorette, Winnipeg, and up to Stonewall. They champed through it all and about halfway through our hunt we came across this one home, and from then on it was the one to beat.

In all honesty I couldn’t even believe it when we came across it. It had a double garage, a huge lot next to a park and other than some paint the house didn’t have much that needed to be done. We were incredibly lucky, this home had very poor marketing and should have sold for a lot more than what it was listed at. We all knew that this was the home they had to scoop up.

By 10:30 that night we had written an offer and by 12:30 the next afternoon we had an accepted offer, less than 24 hours since we had started out on our search! Three days later we completed the home inspection just in time for them to be able to be there before setting off the next morning on their long drive back to Alberta.

Thank you J&J for trusting me with this search and for enduring that 7 hour intense home search. You kept pace and never complained once as we moved fast from one home to the next. Helping family find their new home is extra amazing and I can’t wait for the awesome family gatherings you are going to be able to host there in your new home!
