Thank You To Everyone Who Donated

After fundraising for most of 2025, the funds arrived from the Shelter Foundation, and it was time to drop off $19,152.00 to Willow Place here in Winnipeg! This is the most money I have been able to raise through the Trek for Shelter, and I am so thankful I was able to drop this cheque off.

Willow Place is currently building a new purpose-built facility to help more women who are escaping domestic violence. Each year, more than 1000 get turned away as the current facility is at max capacity. They do the best with the space they have, trying to offer as many services to those who are using the shelter, but they need more, they deserve more.

Thank you to everyone who donated to my trek, who attended events, who listened and who shared. We have indeed made an impact. Today is a proud and happy day.
