Take Down Your Family Photos

I LOVE❤️ displaying pictures in my home, but you truly do need to take down all those family pictures when you are selling. People shouldn't be looking at YOU👈 when they are in your home, they should be looking at the HOME... and people being people they will look at the photos and try to piece together details of your life😬 and analyze what kind of person you are and whether or not they want to buy your home. 

So, take those photos down and allow the buyer a blank slate to envision👀 themselves in the home.

Winnipeg is NOT Toronto or Vancouver.🚫 We all know this, yet when we are reading news articles about the market, we seem to pay attention to what is happening in other cities.🧐 Vancouver market is struggling, Toronto's condo market is incredibly tough... but in Winnipeg? We are hotter than we have ever been.🤩 Homes are selling in multiple offers consistently, 100k over list has become somewhat normal here, and as a buyer or a seller, you need to know what is happening not only in your own city, but in your own neighbourhood and price point.😀

🎉 WE DID IT! 🎉

Together, we raised $12,445 at Designer Bag Bingo, and our hearts are so full and thankful for all of you.

Every dollar raised is helping women and children right here in Winnipeg find safety and hope through the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation and Willow Place, and will also go toward life-changing support with the Cambodia Trek for Shelter, helping across Canada.

What started as a fun night out ended up doing so much good. And that’s because of YOU. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, sponsored a prize, donated, or screamed “BINGO!” with us. It was a night that none of us will forget.

This is what happens when the community shows up, when we care loudly, when we choose impact over indifference.

Tree Roots In Your Pipes

You have probably heard of tree🌳 roots in pipes before, but have you ever seen👀 them? 

If you live in a more mature neighbourhood with lots of trees lining the streets, there is a good chance your pipes look like this.😲 In these neighbourhoods, there are lots of clay pipes making it easy for trees to come in and grab water with their nice big roots. In years when it is especially dry (like the last few summers we have had), this is even more prevalent.😒 

So, what do you do about these tree roots?🤔 At a minimum, you should get your lines cleared every two years to prevent backups and clogs. This is easy maintenance that will save you thousands💰 of dollars.
