The gap!! This gap is so important when your basement is finished. When permits are pulled they make sure that this was done correctly, but some people like to do things without permits, so if you are one of those people make sure your contractors (or yourself) are doing this properly.
This amazing person is off on new big adventures and I am so so so excited for you. Winnipeg is going to miss you and your infectious happiness and although I didn't get to see you very often, I will miss you too. Can you believe this? The Royal LePage Realtors across the country do an amazing job at fundraising for the Shelter Foundation, and when we trek in November our crew should raise another 1.3 million! When we renovated our upstairs bathrooms we bought a little extra piece of flooring for the downstairs bath, so that when we do it there will be consistency. We may not do that bath for another 5 years, but when we do it will match the upstairs ones as well.

As always in social media, you get haters. My first ever video I posted about Trek and about domestic abuse someone commented to "stop whining" and that it was a "waste of money"

There are so many parts of this job that I will remember forever, and this is one of them. This is the perfect match that was made after years of searching.
I got a text from another agent (at 3:30) that he had an off-market listing, I saw the house and immediately sent it to this family. As I sent it to them they happened to be driving down the street, stopped in front of the house and called me. By 8 pm we were in the house for a showing falling in love as every single thing they ever wanted was being checked on their list. I drove home right after the showing and by 9:30 an offer was being drafted. Before 11 pm we had everything accepted and signed, and we were off to bed!

Isn't it incredible how many people at any given moment are living in a shelter? What is more so is that they are there because they had to leave their home due to domestic violence and had to find a safe place for themselves and possibly their kids.
This is why we trek, this is why we fundraise, to help those that are vulnerable, who are seeking safety, and to help educate so that the cycle stops.
